The Summer of Our Discontent

Well, I have to admit I have gone underground for a time taking care of personal matters and digging into some projects. Foremost, I hope everyone out there is finding some time and space to reconnect with peace in whatever form that is for you. On the home front, my family recently moved, so that is chaotic in itself. And there have been some health issues in my extended family, a complicated time that needed my attention.

I know for many out there, these times are stressful and confusing. At least I know it is for me, and I suspect it is for others. But I thought I’d give some updates as to what I’ve been up to.

In terms of writing, I have been spending a good deal of time working on book four of The New Orleans Paranormal Mystery Collection. I really didn’t realize how long it has been since I revisited the Breslin clan until I was updating The House at Pritchard Place. It’s actually been nearly a decade, but in my defense, there have been quite a few other books in between.

So, this installment will focus on the youngest psychic Breslin, Jared, and a number of new characters as well as some old ones. It’s funny how slipping back into the rhythm and banter of this family was much easier than I anticipated. And heading back to New Orleans, at least in my imagination, was a treat as well. I will keep you updated on this book, but for now, I am looking at a Fall release date.

And beyond the Paranormal Mystery book several other sequels need my attention, including a third Clandestine Exploits of a Werewolf novel and a second Portent of Crows. I also have a new author profile at Book Bub. Please do check it out and follow me if you’re inclined. BOOKBUB PROFILE

So, as the summer moves on, my deepest wish for everyone is that they find time for peace and calm in their lives. Truly, nothing could be more essential.
